Eventually I started programming the shows as well as designing and shooting them. I traded Jackson Browne some vintage Vox amplifiers for this Genesis computer and a bunch of projectors.
Okay kids, take note. This is what multi-media used to be: a bunch
of computer-controlled projectors using hotel ballroom power (can you say
"hot ground?" I knew you could).
At some point computers and video technology made all of this hassle obsolete.
Thank heavens. There still remain some staunch supporters of a true mult-image
production, and I have to admit they look beautiful. If anyone wants to
buy my Genesis it's in the basement. E-mail
me.
